Now that the election is over, we should all be thinking "May The Force Be With You Obama-Wan". May the newest Jedi lead the galaxy on new path of peace and prosperity. Posted: 2008-10-27 4:54pm in Shirt Review and new kids on the block Shirts
Now that NKOTB is back on tour after more than ten years, I thought it would be fun to look back at the essential shirts of NKOTB way back when. If you asked any young lady of the eighties they had their favorite. Was it Danny, or was it Joey? Maybe you had the hots for Jordan, Joey or Donnie. My personal favorite was the most short lived and arguably the most far sighted of the group, Mark Wahlburg, who walked when he quickly lost his appetite for bubblegum pop. Without further delay, here is a taste of the NKOTB t-shirt fashion from the late eighties. I'm sure if you think hard you can remember your sister wearing one of these shirts, singing her heart out to Please Don't Go Girl. Posted: 2008-10-20 6:51am in Site News and Govt Mule Shirts Well jam-band fans, it's been six long months sense Gov't Mule has been on the road but the wait is finally over. If a jamming show and a probable Cortez The Killer isn''t reason enough to get you out to their nearest tour stop, it might interest you to know that they''ll be back with a new base player. Jorgen Carlsson is replacing long time member Andy Hess for what the Mule has dubbed The Kinder Revolution Tour. New tour, cool tour name, I can only dream of the sweet new shirts Gov't Mule [...] Posted: 2008-10-11 3:34pm in Site News and Phish Shirts As any self respecting Phish fan already knows, Phish has finally announced the end of their second hiatus with three shows at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia in March 2009. Although very few of us will be lucky enough to attend any of these shows (or be able to afford to go) we will all be able to enjoy the new Phish shirts that are bound to be released. But what excites me more than new official Phish shirts is whats bound to come out of the lot scene. Those masters of pirate merchandise have [...] Posted: 2008-08-21 5:11pm in Shirt Review and Van Halen Shirts We've gathered a nice collection of vintage Van Halen shirts. Here is a run down of our favorites. Any of these shirts sell for $100 or more on ebay. If you want to see for your self check out the Van Halen Ebay lists right here. Posted: 2008-08-11 3:24pm in Shirt Review and Grateful Dead Shirts Browsing Ebay can turn up some real vintage gems. Like this Grateful Dead shirt from the 1983 Marin County Civic Center Halloween shows. Hard to believe this shirt will be 25 years old this Halloween. Not in bad condition either. This shirt will probably sell for over $60; demonstrating the high demand that these vintage Dead shirts are in. Check here for your own 1983 Grateful Dead shirt.Posted: 2008-08-08 2:35pm in Site News and Led Zeppelin Shirts ![]() Yesterday afternoon, the weather was scorching. The sun baked rocks were vibrating heat waves, and I had the windows down as far as they would go. I could feel the heat coming through the floorboards, and the wind was blowin the hair back. I had Led Zeppelin 4 cranking through the speakers, and when the speed limit hit sixty five, I had to turn it up loud to hear it over the wind… That thumping, driving beat of ‘Four Sticks’ came on, and had me bobbing my head, thumping my hand on the door, and grinning like a damn fool. Posted: 2008-07-29 9:50am in Band Review and Coldplay Shirts ![]() While not usually my favorite band, the latest Coldplay album did have me turning up the volume for some of the piano-driven riffs and choruses. It's an album that begs to be played loud, and the concert reviews I've read suggest that Coldplay is attempting to become the U2 of our generation with this new album and tour. Posted: 2008-07-02 7:35pm in Site News and Widespread Panic Shirts ![]() Posted: 2008-06-26 3:30pm in Site News Widespread Panic's three-night stand at Red Rocks is here once again. If your not going to be there, stop back and check out the best of the best from this weekends hunting trip.
