The biggest news coming out of last week was the mistaken early release of U2's new album "No Line on the Horizon"; not even Bono can keep an album from getting leaked these days. If you haven't heard it yet and want a sample, you can find one song 'Get Your Boots On' on U2s myspace page; I guess they decided that if you can't beat em, join em.
All this news about U2 of course got me thinking about the classic U2 shirts released over the years. To the left there is a picture of the U2 shirt that most stands out in my mind. The image of a young boy wearing an military helmet was also on the cover of the album "The Best Of 1980-1990". Check out a few more vintage U2 shirts in the archive from past tours, 1997 tour shirt, 2001 'Elevation' tour shirt, 1992 world tour shirt and 2005 Vertigo tour shirt.
No US tour promoting their new album has been announced yet; but they currently have dates booked in Europe in July and August. So, if your a true U2 fan start saving your money now because I'm betting on a US stadium tour in the fall of 2009.
