The 8th installment of the mighty Bonnaroo festival is officially over. Every interstate rest stop within 100 miles of Manchester will be filled with dirty festival goers looking for the first flush toilet and running water they've seen in days. Getting that layer of grime off before hitting the road for 12 hours is essential.
While news and stories about what really happened last weekend in Tennessee are still leaking out, from what I've read around the web this year's festival was filled with hi notes. Especially the festival closing performance by Phish, including the unexpected addition to the stage of Bruce Springsteen. Springsteen, who Trey declared was and still is one of his heroes, joined Phish onstage for Mustang Sally (not played sense '88), Bobby Jean and Glory Days.
